Children are always welcome at Orchard Coast Farms!

Feel free to tour our orchards on the south side of County Road 8 down to the lakefront, and on the north side of County Road 8 to the east and west of our store and farmhouse.

We have a children’s play set (swings, slides, climber) in front of the barn just north of the store parking lot, set on a large straw covered yard.

On fall weekends we have pick-your-own apples.

During special events, we offer wagon rides, and freshly made caramel apples.

In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, our retail store offers a variety of snacks and fruit beverages.

School tours are always welcome by advance arrangement (call our office).  We’ll provide a tour of the south portion of the farm and orchards, describe the apple growing process, and explain the various varieties of apples we grow (more than 25 in all).

We have a modern accessible public washroom located just behind the retail store.

Finally, an important reminder: Children are safest with adequate adult supervision.  Parents are asked to exercise extra care when their children are near or crossing County Road 8 or the farm laneways and parking areas.  Parental supervision is also necessary for children using the play set.  Thanks!
